Above all, the grain structure and direction, as well as the varying color shades, give the shelter a sophisticated and warm appearance.

Properties of the wood
The wood used for your animal enclosure is a unique natural product, carefully selected and traditionally handcrafted in its country of origin. It is a distinctive and unique product in every respect, further enhanced by hand finishing. No two pieces of wood are alike in shape, structure, or color, so variations in color are unavoidable, even within a single piece. Wind cracks, hairline fractures, irregularities, and knots of varying sizes are evidence of years of growth and natural origin. In most cases, any unevenness has been filled by hand with wood filler. Over time, with use and exposure to light, your animal enclosures will develop a warmer hue. Therefore, color variations between individual enclosures and compared to the display model are perfectly natural. A coat of stain has been applied as a final finish. To prevent mold and wood rot, you should definitely stain the wood again. You can order the appropriate stain at the same time.

Locks and fittings/anchoring
To prevent rust and corrosion, it is recommended to regularly treat locks and fittings with silicone spray or lock spray. If the pet enclosure is not in a sheltered location, we recommend anchoring it.

We do NOT recommend keeping animals solely indoors. Ensure... sufficient exercise and species-appropriate activities.
