Our beautiful FLEXI chicken coop from zooprimus is made of solid pine wood and treated with weatherproof paint.
The coop with integrated run offers space for approximately 5 chickens. For roosting and resting, the chickens have access to two 52 cm long perches. These provide the chickens with a safe and quiet place to rest.
Beneath the perches is a 66 x 48 cm pull-out drawer with a metal sheet lining. This allows for quick and easy cleaning of the coop. The metal lining of the drawer offers the advantage of easier cleaning and greater durability compared to a drawer with a plywood base.
A sliding mechanism allows you to easily and quickly open or close the connecting opening from the main house to the run.
The nesting area is located inside the main house. Incidentally, in a newly furnished chicken coop, it's a good idea to place some plaster eggs in the nest. This helps the hens recognize the nest as a place to lay their eggs.
Incidentally, the roof of the main house can be fully opened. A metal hinge with a locking mechanism holds the roof open, allowing you easy access to all areas of the main house.
On the back of the "Flexi" chicken coop, there are two openings in the main building, each with a diameter of 2.5 cm. These openings are for ventilation.
The hinges for opening and closing the doors on this stable are particularly beautiful and of high quality.
The structure:
The coop comes pre-assembled and can be put together by one person. All screws, connectors, and detailed assembly instructions are included. Assembly is easiest with two people. In our experience, it takes approximately 45 minutes to assemble.
Tips:
Your chickens should be comfortable. Therefore, place the chicken coop in a sheltered spot if possible. To prevent overheating, the coop should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Protect the chickens' housing from constant moisture as well. For example, you can lay inexpensive concrete slabs as a base. This protects the coop from dampness from below and makes it more difficult for martens and foxes to get in.

This coop is suitable for bantam chickens.
We do NOT recommend keeping animals solely indoors. Ensure sufficient exercise and species-appropriate enrichment.
The BLV recommends a floor area of 2m2 to place all necessary equipment such as drinking troughs, feed troughs, etc.
This coop is not suitable as the sole chicken coop and must be expanded to a covered area of 2m2 according to BLV regulations.
